Did a tour of the Pink city and out to the amazing Amber Fort. Lots of marble and snake charmers.
The whole city is dressed up for Diwali - lights, glitter, orange flowery things eeverywhere and millions of people on the streets.
We needed an early night cos 6am bus back to Delhi and did we get it? Of course not - fireworks that make Nov 5th look a bit tame went on til the early hours.
Woke up to take our anti Malaria tabs, pro-biotics and the VERY important Imodium - we had a 5 hour bus trip to Delhi airport to catch the plane.

Another late night train journey, arriving at our digs at midnight. Actually we should have been there at 10pm but the TucTuc driver (who was an arrogant little sod aged about 12) drove us round the city completely lost. We abandoned him and got another who found it eventually. Nice little place (Karan's Guest house' with yet another helpful owner.Did a tour of the Pink city and out to the amazing Amber Fort.
